Hoogland Lymphoma Biobank

Round it Up for Lymphoma

The Hoogland Lymphoma Biobank would not exist without Highland Ventures Ltd.

Each spring, Family Video partners with the University of Chicago Medicine and the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) for the Round it Up for Lymphoma campaign. During the campaign, customers at Family Video are invited to “round up” their purchase to the nearest dollar to make a small donation to lymphoma research.

The Hoogland Lymphoma Biobank was created from these donations, and each year a portion of the funds raised go to advancing the biobank and increasing the impact it makes for physicians, researchers, and, ultimately, patients.

Since its inception in 2011, Round it Up for Lymphoma has raised more than $5.8 million for lymphoma research and patient education. Customers and employees look forward to the campaign each year. “The lymphoma biobank and LRF will help us make significant progress towards finding a cure,” said Keith Hoogland, Family Video president. “Our customers have shown their generosity about this cause in the past, and we are excited for our company to be able to play this role in the fight against lymphoma.”
